I have an older version of Metrowerks CW (R6).
My attempt to add SDK5 was unsuccessful. The installer did not detect the CW on my machine.
Also, I can't seem to debug with Simulator. I've made sure that I've enabled "Use TCP/IP sockets" in the Palm Connection Settings.
But, I keep getting the "transport timeout error" or "failed to connect to remote" error when the CW tries to load the target.
Is SDK5 and Simulator supposed to work with CW R6?
The Palm OS 5.x SDKs were developed using CW for Palm OS V8, and I know there were tweaks made to the debugger in V8.3 to make it work better with the original PalmSim release.
PalmSource doesn't support it with pre-V8 versions of the CodeWarrior tools.
