Can someone direct me on the steps to use a string resourse
on a form so I can use a scroll and have more text on the form
that just labels would allow. Im trying to add lengthly instructions on the program and their to long for a normal form.
Use a read-only field. In the form init routine, use DmGetResource to get the string resource and lock the handle, giving you a char pointer. Use that as the input for FldSetTextPtr. In the form close handler, recover this pointer, unlock the handle, release the resource, and set the text pointer to NULL so that the system doesn't try to free it.
