Thanks for the info. It certainly illuminated some dark areas. I followed your suggestion and it works fine. But I need to compress the bitmap data for storage efficiency and I can't seem to compress it using BmpCompress( ). Does anybody have a sample code for compressing and decompressing bitmaps with BmpRsrcType.
