Is it possible to coerce a string into a MemHandle and if so how? I imagined this would be a fairly frequent problem but can find no example of it anywhere and Palm seems to avoid mentioning it. FldSetTextHandle (fld, h) requires h to be memhandle but I need to get data out of a database and manipulate the data (as stings) prior to displaying the result in a text field.
