Yes, although there are VFS calls to read records out of a PDB file on a expansion card; you can also use the bundle bits in the PRC/PDB header to mark a set of databases as attached to your program, so when the user launches the application from the card, the PDBs will be copied to the device along with the main application.

You wouldn't happen to have a link handy which explains how to easily set these, and what they do?
I'm using CodeWarrior, but I make the PDB using a Java program files2pdb. It says I can set "attributes" but I don't see any documentation on them.
