Understood. The C++ I am using is very simple, so it ought to compile with a
newer g++ (if prc-tools happened to support that).

If you do, check the code out of CVS. The last source release is very old and
contains none of this new work.

As far as I can tell, it is definitely crashing when returning from the
destructor. This will occur with or without GDB running and with or without
having compiled with -g.
