It looks as if the right approach to using the IR port as a lower-level serial port is going to need to implement the IR library, which lists the functions riding beneath the Exchange Manager. Does anyone have any sample code that might show a straightforward process of sending and listening for receipt of a string? I think that would get me through the worst of this development process.
