It's a (lack of) memory problem It seems that SysZLib has no error checking. See a few posts above for some solutions. We would be grateful if you recompile (and distribute) SysZLib with error checking.
LionScribe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] I am trying to include decompression with SysZLib in a Palm application which must run at Palm OS 3.5: machines with M68K chips. A colleague succeeded to compile SysZLib into a shared library (SysZLib.prc according to the current patch against zlib-1.1.3) and it works in a standalone application that looks for some PDBs and decompress them. However, when I tried to make the move of bringing that functionality into a larger application, the emulator stops with the error message: "Test (1.0) just changed the emulated program counter to ... this addess is invalid because it's not even." That says something is wrong when trying to jump to or from the library. But in the other case, that did not happen. Both are CodeWarrior v8.0 projects. Can it be a conflict with DB2e library which is used too? I would appreciate any advice to get this right.
