I am writing a hack using hackmaster hack api.
When the user taps abc 123 tap my hack loads an application which gets data from IR port and converts it into proper charaters. The application displays a dialog with an event handler set properly.
It functions well but too slow. I dont want the current application to be unloaded. Since the characters will be copied to current forms active field. My applicaion is ok when launched normally.
It is a kind of an external keyboard driver. Which will be used by all applications replacing the vistual keyboard dialog.
I have read some documents about modal dialogs and event handlers. It says modal dialogs are not appropriate for communication applications.
How can I load my main form with a full event handler while not closing the current form which will be returned from my application later.
I am stucked. Please help.
