Here's a link on the subject:

Does anyone know if the Tungsten C supports this, or any other 802.11
PalmOS product?

That requirement is like saying that a new phone line has to be able to support ordering pizza. WAP is an application protocol, while an 802.11 network is a physical layer transport.

The Web Browser 2.0 application on the Tungsten C device support HTTP, SSL, and HTTPS, but it doesn't support WAP, which is primarily used on cell phones for accessing mobile web sites. This site (http://www.filesaveas.com/palmwap.html) talks about alternative browsers that can handle some versions of WAP that can be installed on Palm OS.
