Copy PRC from device to VFS, space replaced with underscore?

I'm running into a case where I believe the Sony Launcher is 
substituting underscores for spaces in my database name when it is 
moved to a Memory Stick.

I have a PRC with database name "My Database"; the user moves it to 
their Memory Stick, and it winds up as 
"/PALM/Launcher/My_Database.prc". My code looks for "/PALM/Launcher/My 
Database.prc" (space instead of underscore), and thus fails.

In my beta testing, several non-Sony devices and at least one Sony 
device named the file as I expected, only adding ".prc" to the end of 
the database name.

Can anyone shed any light on this?
