I've been doing a lot of testing with the Debug Simulator v5.2, and
after weeding out a few memory leaks, the Simulator now crashes without
an error message or debug message or anything when I try exiting my app.
I tried it on the Release Simulator v5.2 and nothing happens, everything
runs fine (or so it seems). I also tried it on the Sony Landscape
Simulator and it gave me some sort of error message (I can't remember it
because it wont show it again) which gave me the option to debug, which
I did. The stack said something about destroy_global_chain, or something
like that. I thought that it was the culprit behind the other Simulator
just crashing, but now (after no code changes at all) the landscape
Simulator doesn't crash anymore, although the Debug Simulator still
bombs every time. I was wanting some more information on this
'destroy_global_chain' thing, why it happens, what I can do to keep it
from happening, things along those lines. Advance thanks to everyone who
replies.
