It works fine, instead for accented caracteres (�, �, �, �, etc). These caracters are incorrectly converted, so I have the following questions:
1. Is there any other tool to convert rsrc to rcp that runs in Linux and doesn't have this limitation? Preferentially a command line tool that I can run in a makefile.
Not that I know about.
2. Can someone provide information about the character encoding in rsrc files, so that I can try to make rsrc2rcp handle them correctly?
The coding in the RSRC file is the Mac OS character set.
3. Is there a good (visual) resource editor that runs in Linux?
The only ones I know about are http://www.roblisa.com/pilrcedit/, http://toucan.sourceforge.net/, and http://cactus.rulez.org/projects/guikachu/
4. Any other workaround?
If you have a build of the PRC file using the .rsrc resources, you can dump the PRC file to RCP format using the Palm Application Explorer (PRCExplorer) program on Windows.
