Hi folks,
I'm trying to run an old app on the current Emulator with the English 3.0 non-debug ROM image. I keep getting an error, which I would think I'd only get in a debug ROM, that prevents me from getting into the program. Can anyone help?
This is the error I'm getting:
"Sat. Forms EE RDK 4.1 (4.1) just read from memory location 0x00001A6E, which is in the "numObjects" field of the form starting at 0x00001A30.
The data at this memory location is owned by the Form Manager. Applications should not access the data directly. Instead, they should make the appropriate Form Manager calls."
The choices I'm given are Continue, Debug, Reset.
Satellite Forms's runtime engine does bad things, including directly reading data from Palm OS internal data structures. POSE detects these accesses. To get this to run silently, you need to turn off POSE's debug checks under the Settings/Debugging dialog.
