Thnaks for the response... but I after doing as you suggested... I dug deep to look for anyhting that might be causing this issues I found nothing. However! when looked into my Codewarriror 9.3 settings I realized that I had the setting for "Emulator"; under the the "Plam OS Debugging" node set to "Palm OS Emulator (Handspring 3.31)" ...zoinks! this was not the version of the emulator I was using.
