Part of the problem, and I only get it with this mailing list, is that 'out of office' auto-replies seem to be reflected back to the address posting the message. At any point in time there's a good chance that at least one person on the list has an autoresponder set up so I'm used to receiving garbage messages when I post to this forum.
I talked with our forum admin today, and we don't actually have anyone subscribed to palm-dev-forum with an address that matches the Brazilian email server that's been sending everyone bounce messages. We're continuing to look for the offending address -- somewhere, the mail is getting forwarded to a bad address, and the headers are getting corrupted in the process, it seems.
