if you are using the pilot-xfer 0.9.3 that I put out back in 1999 then there is no way to get it to work with anything newer than OS 3.5. I also ceased development completely.

I want to synchronize files with an SPT1800 (Palm OS 4.1) and use the pilot-xfer. This is my call in the batch-process:
pilot-xfer -p COM1 -f nameOfFile
result: Waiting for connection on COM1 (press the HotSync button now)... pi_accept: unknown error
If I call pilot-xfer twice the second call works fine (most of the time):
pilot-xfer -p COM1 -f nameOfFile pilot-xfer -p COM1 -f nameOfFile
With a SPT1700 (Palm OS 3.5) I have no problems, all works pretty good. I test it with different devices, cradles and on various desktop-computers (Win 2000) and with a wide range of transfer speed. Ever the same unknown pi_accept error.
Any ideas? Or an other sync-tool?
