Hi, I think that you can just directly create a new event structure containing the event and the necessary data. Then use EvtAddEventToQueue to push the event on the event stack, and off it goes. I did that with a power off event and never ever had any problems! There is a source example available in the SDK Docs-it handles launching the App Launcher or powering off the device..
