Hi, I started off with Visual Basic on the PC. When I got my used IIIc, I found SmallBASIC by accident-excellent programming language even for bigger projects. I am in the process of writing a german book about it BTW. Well, I soon went on to Onboardc. It was difficult to learn at first(the C gave me the creeps)-but it is very well possible. Then came OnboardC 2.4 series-I feel that they are very very buggy. So I fetched the free POSE of the PalmSource Servers-and alas. It is very similar to Visual Basic and comes wit ah full Garnet and Cobalt Simulator + SDK. The Resource Editor is very comfortable(better than RSRCedit) and it is quite simple to learn and understand! Definitely worth the download... BTW, many of the articles here are of concern only to a few specific developers-just ignore them and ask if you have questions that arent answerable online or with the Palm Knowledge Base and Mailing List archives.. Best Regards Tam Hanna
