When you say Linux, do you mean POSIX systems in general? Not all of us non-Windows people run Linux.
No, I'm speaking specifically of Linux on x86 processors. Parts of the Palm OS Developer Suite are closed source, and we can't do builds and test on every possible platform. It's possible that those binaries might work on other systems, like FreeBSD or Solaris with their Linux compatibility layers, but we would probably not do any testing on those platforms. Of course, just moving to one Linux platform is still off in the distance, and we may have other priorities.

How about emulators?
The Palm OS Emulator can already be built on many POSIX systems. It only handles a subset of available 68K devices. I don't have any announcements or roadmaps for POSE at this time, but it's unlikely that we'll release an update to emulate ARM-based systems anytime soon.
