Hi Sagar,
one suggestion is to only handle JFIF on expansion cards. You can move the image, when you view it in your image viewer, to the expansion card. There are default directories (DCIM) for them.
Another approach is to write your own Exchange Lib, then the user can open it's image viewer, select "Send Picture" and select your exchange library to send the picture to anyone from it's buddy list.

Hi Henk,
I've made a Yahoo messenger client and i wanna add file transfer support to it.
So till now i'm able to receive any image file sent to me and i pass it to excahgne manager which takes care of showing it and saving it. Now I want to send files and i'm looking for a simulating a browse functionality as in Windows, wherein i wanna show user a list of stored images and when he selects the image i want to transfer that file to the buddy.
Wat i've found so far is the Images get stored in "ImageLib_imageDb" and "ImageLib_mainDb" stores imfo about no of images. Larger images are spread across multiple records in "ImageLib_imageDb".
So i want to figure out the exactly byte stream for the image so that i can send it to any buddy in my buddy list.
Pls help me out.
Sagar.
