I have created a program under PalmOS already opening a socket and trying to connect to say google.com, and it will not connect because i can't seem to get it any sort of connectivity to the internet via the Emulator.
In the Emulator/Simulator, you must check the "Redirect NetLib calls to Host TCP/IP" setting. Then it will connect through your Windows internet connection.

There are a lot of possiblities... - WLAN - Connection via Bluetooth or Infrared to cell phone and then GSM/GPRS - Bluetooth Access Point - Modem attached to serial port - ...
Do Palm's support any sort of 802.11b network cards?
The PalmOne Tungsten C does, several Sony Clie devices do and there is a WLAN SD-card for newer PalmOne devices.
I wrote e-mails years ago with my black and white Palm III connected through my cell phone! I even synced AvantGo with my Palm III connected with a self-made serial cable to my computers external 28.8 modem. And you say PalmOS does not have connectivity!!
