Ben, how do I get a Palm Debugger that works with Tungsten E (and T3 also had this problem)? Which specific version of the debugger must I use, from which SDK?
Surely such a beast must exist? Otherwise, how can I debug my heaps to track down memory problems?
I don't think PalmSource ever updated the Palm Debugger to work with OS 5 heaps. PalmSource tended to use the Palm OS Simulator, which has its own built-in heap viewer. However, PalmOne has a modified version that the debugger that they've used on devices; it's available from their pluggedin.palmone.com program as the "Treo Palm Debugger" download. It may be able to handle the Tungsten E and T3, but I've never tried it myself.
