Hi and thanks for the answers...
what i want to send is just the number "1" for instance...
What i send isn't of interest, but the fact that i receive it (or not) is ...
so i thought that having some sort of character or number, being sent through the serial would be enough to check if for every number i sent, i do receive them back (or not)...
and every time i'll receive it that will mean my wheel made one turn...(being that the signal can only pass through when "those things" installed on both the fork and the wheel are alined)
(forgive my poor English here...)
else i don't know what's the RTS Line...
isn't that what i was thinking of when speaking about the "Transmit and receiver" pins of the Serial port?
but i'm not the one developping the app, a friend of mine is, so i'll check with him on that, all i do is to take care of the Gui side of the app (being the one that ride, and hence will use it, i know exactly what i want).
thanks for all again!
Val-Jean
Not sure... what would you want to send?
Wouldn't it be better to use the RTS line?
