I'm hoping that someone can tell me how I can use a newer version of the form editor with the latest (eclipse-based, not codewarrior) version of the developer suite?
I have the PalmOS 5 SDK R3 and it has a Constructor for Palm OS executable that flat-out will not run (ASINTPPC.dll error) and the version of the resource editor that comes with the dev suite isn't new enough to allow me anything but 160x160 form sizes.
Constructor for Palm OS requires the ASINTPPC.dll that's only distributed with CodeWarrior -- it's a CW library that PalmSource doesn't have the right to distribute.
I'm trying to do development for the Clie, and this isn't making things easy :)
Anyway, there are two things I want to do: One, work in the higher (320x320) resolution as well as the lower, and Two, update that resource editor with a newer version.
When editing forms, you never create anything on a 320x320 grid -- on high-res devices, you still design to the 160x160 grid, but all the fonts and controls are shown at high density and look better. This is a Palm OS design decision; their is no resource editor that does 320x320 forms, as Palm OS doesn't support that kind of layout.
