Hello Ben,
if there is no Palm anymore is the address (Palm, Inc. 400 North McCarthy Boulevard Milpitas, California 95035)
referenced in the Palm software license agreement still valid? I should contact them with regards to the part
"NO ASSIGNMENT;NOREVERSE ENGINEERING" of the agreement.

Best regards Philippe

Is Palm planning on switching all new Palm OS releases to use the T3's Calendar application? Or, was this done for just a few devices?

There is no Palm. There is PalmOne and PalmSource.

PalmSource has new PIM application using our schema database format in Palm OS Cobalt, with a compatibility layer to allow access to some of that data through the old DB format. The PIM apps on Palm OS Garnet that we distribute to licensees continue to use the old format.

PalmOne has their own new PIM app suite, and so far, it looks like they are using it on all their new devices running Palm OS 5.x. However, I can't state what their future plans are in this area.
