My signature capture code works okay on the Palm V, the Palm emulator and the Symbol STP1500. My conduit transfers the bitmap fine to the PC. Using the same conduit, the signature in the .bmp file is jumbled when I use a Symbol SPT1800 or a Treo 600. I suspect density type or pixel size, but I really don't know where to start. Any suggestions?
All these devices use 160*160 pixel screens, so its more likely the issue is OS level and the way you are storing the bitmaps when you create them.
There were a lot of changes in the way bitmaps were handled from 3.0 to 3.5 to 4.0 to 5.0, with the change from 3.0 to 3.5 being the most severe. And it is a headache to get bitmap code working across all these OS levels.
