Rob, >How do you get the front of the queue for the launch code?
I'm not sure you really can. You can't use the priority of the notification system, because the notification registry is cleared on a reset so only internal apps can use sysNotifyResetFinishedEvent. User apps need to respond to sysAppLaunchCmdSystemReset. However, even if you could set a priority, what makes you think there is a way to ensure you'd always be first? If there was code you could use, then another app could use the same code. Who goes first? Why? What if another app also thinks it "deserves" to be the first in line? I've never tested, but I assume the app launchs occur in the order that the OS iterates over all the 'appl' resource databases when using DmGetNextDatabaseByTypeCreator(). And to my knowledge, that is essentially random for purposes of being controlled by a user application.
