Hello,

For my first application using PODS, i created the puzzle example. It builds with no errors.

When I start the debug session, the simulator shows the Palm Preferences screen PODS displays a dialog that says, "The selected target environment is being launched...Press OK when it is done launching...

Do I install the prc file into the simulator at this point or do I press OK, or do I cont. to wait.
If I press OK next, I get a timeout error: Target request failed.

If I load the projects prc file, I still get the same error message.

If I load the projects prc file and run the application, the debugger does not stop at any of my breakpoints.

I followed the setup in the "Intro to PODS" manual.

What else do I need to do?

You are having a communications problem between PODS and the run environment. Are you using the Palm OS Emulator, the Garnet Simulator, or the Cobalt simulator? Do you have firewall software running on your PC that might block communication between programs?

I am using simulator for Garnet. The exe in the settings is the "PalmSim_54_dbg.exe"
There is a firewall on the network server but all my development environment is on my local machine. The setting for firewall on my local machine are not checked (disabled). I am also running Norton AntiVirus.
