By connected do you mean connected via Bluetooth, or do you mean a PDA/Smartphone device? If it is a PDA/Smartphone device, you typically can just open NetLib and everything will Just Work. Sometimes you have to open the default wireless connection with NetLibOpenConfig. If you want to do it over a Bluetooth connection, then it's a little more work. You have to go through and configure a connection to use Bluetooth, and go through a bunch of work to set the Bluetooth address, etc.
Hope this helps! -Jon ------------------------------------------- Jonathan Hays Palm OS Certified Developer http://hazelware.luggle.com ------------------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Vladimir Lozhnikov Sent: Thursday, January 13, 2005 5:20 AM To: Palm Developer Forum Subject: Re: Internet + GPRS yes. you can. i need setting your preferences on pda. 1. add the new connection via gprs (connections tab) 2. add the new service (network tab) and bind it to gprs connection 3. use netlib api for connection to remote server JPL> Hi, JPL> I have a doubt: if I have a GSM/GPRS cell phone connected to a PDA with Palm OS Garnet, Can I use the Net Lib to access websites, open sockets, etc. or I have to write some GPRS specific code?
