i've had some users bring up an issue regarding this - whats the easiest
way to prevent the center button from returning to the launcher/bringing up
the attention manager?

some games (emulators too) use the dpad select button to fire/jump. a few
users have complained about this feature - having a mechanism for disabling
it documented would be good for the archives.
