Camera programming using palmone SDK

I'm new at palm programming (a couple of months) and I need to write a
program to take pictures from a camera. After looking for a while I
finally found the palmone sdk and the CameraLib-camL library. The docs
say that it is compatible with the treo and zire cameras but I want to
know if someone have programmed apps for other cameras in palmone (or
other palmos powered) devices using this sdk. I wrote an app for POS
activity report and now they want a module to take pictures of the POS
too, but they don't know what kind of device will be used. It was
intended for the tungsten C because it uses wifi to connect to the
server to retrieve data and send reports, but now they might use zire's
too. They still want the tungsten C because several dozens will be sold
with the app but then, an SDIO camera should be used instead, so the
module should be compatible.
