Our customers will be using our application and no other application; That means they won't be using hotsync either. We want to make it look like a dedicated device that just runs our app and we can't have the Palm's installation reminder popping up.
I have tried to intercept vchrAlarm, but that wasn't it because the reminder still appeared.
I thought if we hotsync'd the PDA before distributing it to our customers, the reminder would not appear. But on some of the PDAs it is still appearing and I don't know why. Anyway, if the PDA loses power completely or the customer performs a hard reset, I'm afraid the reminder will appear again. Again, I'm just experimenting as this is not documented anywhere.
Can someone from Palm answer this?
