Yes, it's safe to say you'll still need your Windows box. Until about a year ago, all of my Palm development was 100% Mac-based. I'm crossing my fingers (but not holding out any real hope) that the Mac will once again be a first-class citizen (perhaps with an Eclipse-based IDE?). Of course, the simulators will probably always be Windows only. Virtual PC may work, but even if your current Windows box is dated, it will probably give you a better overall experience than VPC.
