How do I get a color application icon to show up?

I have an application that I have developed using an old version of CW 
on Mac. I want to add a color application icon.

I have downloaded a newer version (1.6) of Constructor.
I have deleted the old icon.
I have created an "App Icon Family", with a 1 and an 8 bit item, and 
made the icons.

I have replaced the StartupCode.lib with the StartupCode.lib from the 
SDK 4.0.

I cleaned, and built the application.
When I install it, I get a generic icon.
How do I get the color Icon to show up?
