I believe that on the treos, if you call the NetLibOpen outside of a UI 
context (ie: waking up from a ProcAlarm), the device will automatically 
suppress any dialogs (including errors).

Are you sure it can be done on the Treo?  I've been through the phonelib 
headers a number of times and I don't recall ever seeing an API function for 
that.  That being said, I've been wrong way more times than I'll ever admit, so 
please share with us if you know how to do it.  =)

really? i knew it can be done in Treo device which has own network API, but 
i just don't know how to do it for devices other than Treo.
