It isn't a crime, but it does raise an interesting question: if you are the one who created the app (and thus the PRC), then how can you not *already* know the creator ID? I suppose one possible answer is that you are writing a library, but you could still require the caller to pass a creator ID, which would be the most straightforward and flexible solution.
