Howdy! > I am searching for a PDA with USB Host Support in it. Sharp Zaurus - a Linux and QT-Embedded driven handheld with some impressive features - dual expansion slots, etc. See:
- http://www.myzaurus.com/ - http://www.dynamism.com/zaurus/ (clamshell design; very Sony-like) - http://www.dynamism.com/sl-c3000/ (clamshell, 640x480, 4GB hard drive) - http://www.linuxdevices.com/articles/AT2134869242.html (review) - http://www.bargainpda.com/default.asp?newsID=2379 (rev.includes comparison) Most of the Zaurus models have CF-II and SD slots, and is capable of using many CF and SD non-memory expansion cards (i.e. use the SD for Wi-Fi, CF for storage...) The higher-priced models (and possibly the cheaper ones as well) have USB host capability. They run a variety of the 2.4.x (2.4.20 for the 4GB HD model) kernel. A quick google search should result in many, many hits. -- Matthew Bevan, Margin Software - Re-inventing the wheel, every time.
