I would like reopen this thread to see if anyone can help. I will re-phrase: I want to call a function (or create a function) that will switch from the default keyboard to the default graffiti area on the Tungsten T3 and T5. Both devices run on Palm 5 (Garnet). There is an API call for this very purpose - PINSwitchToPinlet ( ) in Palm 6 (Cobalt) but not in Garnet. I have done my homework, read all the SDK documentation, studied all the related threads and knowledge base. I even tried adding penDown+penUp events over the graffiti switch icon on the keyboard using EvtAddEventToQueue ( ). I can see the button light up when virtually "pressed", the event view on the simulator shows the event is captured, but the keyboard won't switch to graffiti.
I would be very grateful for a solution, even if it just invloves a better way to emulate a penDown and penUp sequence.
