I also write almost all my stuff with prc-tools. No problems even with several segments (like in MeisterMerker and VoxelRacer). As other people wrote, it's just a bit more to write, but you can (in my opinion) on the other hand better adjust which part (function) goes in which segment. Armlets are also possible, but I've never compared the produced code between CW and prc-tools. The only drawback with prc-tools is the debugging, which is a bit more complicated.
