But see, the point is that I can tell how long I've had my nose stuck in my SNES emulator. :)
It'd just be nice to know whether the thing's going to shut off from lack of juice. :) With some apps, especially games, bringing that status window up is either undesirable or not possible. On a few of the less cooperative ones, it causes bad screen munging and redraw issues, and sometimes crashes the device. I know the *look* of that status bar can be modified, but I wonder if the functionality can be. I ought to take a look at some of the "DIA Skin" thingies floating around.
