How's this:

Get the dimensions of the screen
If the width is greater than the height, it's landscape.
If the height is greater than the width, it's portrait.

Of course this doesn't get you the orientation if the T3's slider is
closed, do you have the same problem's than?

yup! i have that and was able to make the dia collapsable in clie, t3
and t5, but when i changed to landscape in t3/t5 everything is messed
up. i tried using SysGetOrientation() and it crashed the clie simulator
even if it is not executed. i think SysGetOrientation() is an OS5.3
function.

any ideas how to find out whether it is in landscape or potrait without
using os5.3 functions and is compatible over all OS?
