Hi all,

I'm trying to write code that does performs an action based on a tap-and-hold (but not a pen lift) on a list item. I can handle the lstEnterEvent and adjust the timeout (thanks Dave!) to handle a standard tap-and-hold. The problem that I have is handling a 'drag' from one list item to another -- I looked but can't find any event that indicates leaving one list item for another or entering another list item while dragging. I (looked in the docs, searched the archive, and) modified my mainloop code to find the event:

       do  {
           EvtGetEvent(&event, evtWaitForever);

          // HERE is where I print out the event type of every event I get
          if (gMainInit) {
               char    sp[40];  static    int    y    = 11;

               StrPrintF (sp, "%d", event.eType);
               WinDrawChars (sp, StrLen(sp), 120, y);

               if ((y += 11) > 160) y = 11;   // wrap around the screen
           }

           if (!SysHandleEvent (&event)) {
               if (!MenuHandleEvent (0, &event, &error)) {
                   if (!appHandleEvent (&event)) {
                       FrmDispatchEvent (&event);
                   }
               }
           }
       } while (event.eType != appStopEvent);

But no event fired when dragging the pen. I'm a bit surprised because the selection did, in fact, change when I dragged the pen from one list item to the one below it -- I would have expected that this would happen due to events happening and that I would actually, you know, _see_ those events in my event loop.

What am I missing (or, alternatively, is there a better way to do this)?

Thanks!
