I tried it - it does not help. I would wonder if it did as we are just
reading the database.

We had a very similar issue with our app on the T5's and Treo650's recently.
After iterating through about a 1000 records our reads would start failing.
We found that making a call to DmSyncDatabase every 500 records made this
problem go away. I'd be interested to see if this holds true in your test
case.
