I really appreciate your quick response.
Especially since I'm mainly ignored in this forum & previously I have
had responses that say something cant be done when it can !
So dont take this the wrong way, but I have searched the forum &
googled & check palmone etc. etc. etc.
I emailed metrowerks, but no response !
I have Codewarrior 9.3, this is supposed to include all the
appropriate header files, but I cant find any with HsGetVersionString,
so I was wanting to know which particular header file will resolve
this ?

Sounds like a Handspring-specific API. Google finds the following:
