Yes, that makes sense. What made me wonder about NVFS is the content of the error message "Not NV read response". Sounded a little like NVfs. I'm gun shy on the 650.
I poked around a little more, and I'm pretty sure that this is an error from the telephony code not being able to read one of the network tokens out of the CDMA phone module's non-volatile RAM. That's where things like the network interface settings, EIN, and MIN are stored. It has got nothing to do with NVFS, it's a radio interface problem. I don't know what could cause this error, however.
