I'm testing an application that connects via SSL to a server.
The application works with most public SSL-enabled servers, but fails to connect to one particular SSL-enabled server.
I've found that SslOpen() returns sslErrEof. It does not seem to be a problem with that particular SSL server, as I am able to perform a SSL connection to it successfully using a desktop client. There seems to be a compatibility problem with that server and the SSL library of the Palm OS only.
Does the SSL library of Palm OS have some known limitations that it does not work with some versions or implementations of SSL servers?
It could be that the certificate on the server is self-signed or signed by a root that isn't in the Palm OS root server database, but is in the DB for desktop browsers.
