jdpalm is non-ARM and should give performance similar to nyctergatis.
I have future plans to port jdpalm and jdpalm to ARM but I have no time 
table.

I know that Stefan Stolz posted a port to arm in the tread "ARM based 
Jepg-Library" on November 22, 2004
