Eka, >can you explain the differences between both?
PalmSource is a software company, and makes the OS which gets licensed to various hardware companies to put on their devices. Think Microsoft. palmOne is a hardware company which makes PDAs and smartphones and licenses the OS from PalmSource. Think Dell. However, device specific features such as those on the Treo 600/650 are made by the hardware vendor (palmOne in this case), and as such they are the ones who have to make a simulator with Treo specific features. PalmSource can issue a simulator with the generic OS, but only the hardware vendor can issue a simulator with their own propreitary extensions. If the names were PalmSource and Sony, it would be the same concept but perhaps less confusing.
