Cobalt has been in the hands of the manufactuers for some time now, and no one has yet to release a device running it. It looks like it may never make it to the consumer market. On the other hand, I like to tell myself that they are just waiting till after the Garnet devices are old enough for people to want to upgrade. It could have been bad timing that caused them to hold off. There is no reason to release two new products at the same time. The consumers would have bought one or the other. If they hold off long enough their consumers will more likely upgrade when the newer ones come out.
